Below, you'll find some of our recent custom stonework in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, and Agoura Hills
Custom Stonework, also known as "Stonemasonry" has been around since the human race first began using tools. Stonework can be divided into 2 main category types: Rubble Masonry, and Ashlar Masonry. To clarify, Rubble Masonry is the art of using roughly dressed stones and mortar, whereas Ashlar Masonry is that of using cut (neatly dressed) stones and mortar to build features. Some of the features you'll commonly find are stone walkways, retaining walls, garden walls, and stone veneer. Stone veneer is a beautiful alternative to traditional siding on a home that can drastically improve the home's aesthetic character with a reasonably low investment of time and money. We at CPF have hundreds of jobs under our belts for each type of Stonework. Pat Flaherty, founder of CPF Masonry, has been driving stonemasonry projects of all sizes from concept to completion in Southern California since 1993, and is your go-to resource for your next project.
